Karitest Brummond

Kari Brummond is a degreed accountant who has been writing about business and personal finance, taxes, and tax debt resolution for over 10 years. Her work has been featured on Intuit's international sites for TurboTax and Quickbooks, and she's ghostwritten for dozens of small firms across the country. Her tax tips have been printed by major news outlets including Forbes, Parents Magazine, and others. Although her passion is tax education through writing, she also runs a tax prep and consulting firm for small local businesses and farms/ranches in an underserved rural area of Southern Colorado. She's passed the individual section of the Enrolled Agent exam and expects to pass the next two tests and become an Enrolled Agent by the end of 2023. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking in the mountains with her dogs.
